Support us

Research for conservation requires resources. That's where you come in.

Harmusch is a non-profit organisation. Every contribution goes entirely to expeditions, field equipment and scientific publication. Here's how you can help.

Fifteen years of personal commitment

Everything you see here has been built with our own resources.

Since 2010, every expedition to the Sahara, every camera trap placed in the desert, every published paper has been made possible through the personal time and pockets of Harmusch's own members.

We have invested holidays, weekends, personal savings and countless hours of volunteer work because we believe this wildlife deserves to be studied and protected. And we will keep doing so.

But to take the next step —more expeditions, more field equipment, more published science— we need to join forces. Your support, however small, multiplies what we can achieve.

What your support becomes

Where every euro is invested

Camera traps

Each camera deployed in the desert multiplies our ability to detect elusive species such as the Saharan cheetah or the North African wolf.

Field expeditions

Your support funds fuel, logistics and permits for our annual campaigns in the northern quadrant of the Atlantic Sahara.

Analysis and publications

Genetic analyses, diets, habitat models and the editing of scientific papers that reach the international community.

One-off or recurring donation

You can make a contribution via PayPal, either as a one-off or on a monthly basis. 100% goes to fieldwork and scientific outreach.

Institutional sponsorship

Do you represent a company, foundation or university and want to sponsor an expedition, a research line or camera trap equipment? We would be delighted to design a tailored collaboration.

Spreading the word and other ways to help

You can also help greatly by sharing our work with your contacts, recommending our publications or inviting the team to give talks, workshops and outreach events.
